CampFire Copywriting is headed up by Barnaby Kirsen who has been writing copy since he began working at his father’s design agency, in his school holidays in 1986.
From those early days, writing adverts for business clients, Barnaby went on to do his City and Guilds in Print and Radio Production, and freelanced for local papers; including the Observer and Evening Post.
After a year travelling and writing in India, he returned to complete a BA in Journalism and Broadcasting at the University of Wales, Cardiff, where he continued to write for newspapers, explored Peru to document the rich history of its ancient Inca civilisation, and also organised the Stella Artois Short Film Showcase in Wales.
On completing his BA, Barnaby went to Australia where he worked for FHM Magazine and other media companies including Fox.
In 2000, after a year working on a series of local newspapers, Barnaby set up his own web design company where he built websites and wrote SEO copy for small businesses.
Today, Barnaby heads up a team of native English speaking writers based in the UK, Canada, US and Tenerife.
